Weathered In

I’m writing this from the table in the picture above, quite content to watch the fire, enjoy my coffee, and speak with several of the staff awaiting the influx of two wedding parties scheduled to arrive tonight. This is day two of waiting for weather to clear, which probably won’t occur until Monday. Yesterday was spent walking about, taking in the local atmosphere and getting some exercise.

The flight up from Watertown in New York, into Canada and up the Georgian Bay shoreline was spectacular. The prelude to that flight - of getting into Canada in the first place - is in this post

Flight details are in this post.

I came at just the right time, before the seasonal crush. Dinner with some of the staff, and learning a lot about this facility, town, and area history. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend some weather days.
